Elena is not yet a year old when she is kidnapped from her father, Diego de le Vega, and brought up as the daughter of Raphael Montero in Spain. When they return to California, she is captivated by a mysterious man in a mask, whom Captain Love seems to have a strong aversion. And later, when she meets a charming and yet mysterious Don Alejandro at her father's fiesta, the attraction seems even stronger...
